Actinic Keratosis Treatment – Cryosurgery

Cryosurgery is one of the best surgical treatments for actinic keratosis. This surgical methods involve the use of freezing Nitrogen to destroy and remove keratosis growth on the skin. One of the disadvantages of using liquid Nitrogen for actinic keratosis treatment is that , liquid Nitrogen is quite dangerous and must not come in contact for a long time with the skin otherwise skin tissues can be destroyed permanently. Extreme care must be taken when transferring Nitrogen before treatment so that it does not spill out and cause respiratory problems for both the medical personnel and the individual being treated. Aside the fact that Liquid Nitrogen is harmful to health and the likelihood of an individual suffering from some redness, Cryotherapy remains one of the safest and fastest treatments for actinic Keratosis.
